Cyborg delivers UGVs to the Australian Department of Defence

Cyborg has delivered three Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) to the Australian Department of Defence across multiple LAND based programs. The systems delivered will support operators and soldiers with ‘final mile’ logistics, CASEVAC and fire support in challegning terrains and contested environments.

Key Highlights

  • First Robotic Live Fire Approval: Cyborg has been granted the first robotic live fire safety approval nationally working with subject mattter experts Electro Optics Systems to allow live fire on Australian Defence Force ranges.

  • 3 Platforms across 2 End User Groups: The delivery of systems into two separate programs and customer groups highlights the platforms versatility and utility by design.

  • Product Baseline after Extensive Test and Evaluation: The system has undergone extensive internal testing to meet the necessary envirnonmental requirements.

  • Autonomy Onboard: The system includes Cyborg’s autonomy pack, consisting of cruis control, waypoint navigation and collision avoidance. This reduces operator workload.

This delivery marks a major step forward in defence ground robotics, enhancing warfighter safety through increased standoff and reduced load carriage.
